(20/11/14 - 21/11/14 from 08:30 - 17:30)
This year’s national PCDS conference, the 10th to date, has been specifically designed to help all primary care clinicians working on diabetes to plot the right course through the maze of new guidelines, new therapies and a new NHS. Building on the success of the increased level of choice offered to delegates last year, you will again have the chance to shape the programme to your own particular needs and interests. You can supplement the thought-leading plenary lectures and satellite symposia with your own tailored picks from the more hands-on parallel-track sessions and the practical educational-pathway breakouts.
In a world that continues to increase in complexity, we feel that there has never been a better time, or a greater need, to offer a programme where you can find your bearings and choose a simplified, personalised and enjoyable route through primary care diabetes management. In addition, you will be able to bolster your continuing professional development profiles to help you navigate your way through your annual appraisal process. This experience will be supplemented with a range of associated PCDS-led in-print and online educational materials, which will be available to delegates during and after the event.
We look forward to welcoming you in November 2014 and trust we can help you plot a path through the complexities of primary care diabetes in today’s NHS.
David Millar-Jones, Chair, Primary Care Diabetes Society
