ANNOUNCEMENT; 15 December 2021, Change of name: EASD-PCDE Study Group becomes Primary Care Diabetes Europe Study Group
The study group is comprised of primary care researchers in diabetes across Europe and beyond. The guiding principles are:
- To encourage high quality research in diabetes in primary care.
- To build a European network of primary care researchers, with wide interests on diabetes
- To share research findings.

- Association of blood pressure with cardiovascular and mortality outcomes in older persons with or without diabetes mellitus
- Association of erectile dysfunction and PDE5 inhibitor usage with the risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality in patients with diabetes
- External validation of diabetes cardiovascular risk models (Advance and Dial) in men and women by ethnicity (country of birth) and disposable household income.
- Gestational diabetes and complications among pregnant women attended in primary care sexual and reproductive health services in Catalonia.
- Quality assessment of type 2 diabetes care in Greece: setting indicators from a primary care perspective
- Impact of COVID-19 on primary care services; a qualitative survey of health care professionals across Europe
